Senior Vice President/Chief Talent Officer
Ed Oxford joined Banner Health as senior vice president, chief talent officer in 2007, tasked with leading development and implementation of strategies that position Banner as an employer of choice.
Prior to Banner, Oxford held various leadership positions in organizational development, human resources and learning at Motorola, Inc., in Schaumburg, Illinois. There, he ran Motorola University, which provided learning opportunities for 65,000 employees. He also established a global human resources strategy and organizational development functions to support business-wide initiatives.
Oxford’s other past roles include serving as a principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he focused on organization transformation in the management-consulting business.
Oxford, who has a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s in education, earned a doctorate in organization and leadership from Columbia University. He completed additional graduate studies in management science at the University of Southern California and counseling psychology at the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
