Drew Dostal was named CEO of Ogallala Community Hospital in 2015.
Dostal comes to Ogallala from Bozeman, Montana, where he served as CEO of Rocky Mountain Surgical Center. Prior to that, he held multiple roles during an 8-year career with Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital in Ludington, Michigan. He joined the hospital as a registered nurse in the Emergency department and worked his way up to senior director of surgical and ambulatory services before eventually becoming vice president of operations. In addition, he spent 14 years in orthopedic surgery in a private practice before joining the hospital.
Prior to working in health care, Dostal was a law enforcement specialist in the U.S. Air Force. He earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a Master of Business Administration, both from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.
