John Groesbeck is senior vice president of acute care operations for Banner Health’s Arizona community hospitals. Groesbeck was appointed to this position in 2024 with a career spanning more than two decades of experience in health care finance and administration and had been the vice president of finance for Banner’s community hospitals and the divisional chief financial officer over Banner’s Arizona community hospitals for seven years.
Groesbeck came to Banner in 2017 after six years as a finance officer for Kaiser Permanante in California and 10 years as a chief financial officer at St. Luke’s Health System in Idaho. His career began as a Certified Public Accountant auditing health systems and health plans for Deloitte. He holds a bachelor’s degree of business administration in accounting and finance from Idaho State University.
