Ryan Koos joined Banner Health as senior vice president and chief supply chain officer in June 2025.
Koos comes to Banner with more than 22 years of experience in health care supply chain management, including the last nine years at Sharp HealthCare in San Diego, where he served as chief supply chair officer for that full integrated regional system.
Prior to Sharp, Koos was a senior sourcing specialist for five years at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, and a senior buyer and value analyst at Oregon Health and Science University.
Koos holds a bachelor of science degree in public health from Oregon State University and now uses his extensive experience to educate others as an active advisor on national health care supply chain councils.
As chief supply chain officer, Koos oversees all aspects of Banner’s health care supply chain, including ordering, distribution, inventory, strategy of sourcing and contracting.
