Course Description

The Northern Colorado Emergency & Trauma Care Symposium is an annual symposium that is committed to providing you with quality, local, and affordable continuing education. Each year we strive to offer a variety of lectures and pertinent skill sessions that are evidence-based and practical for all health care providers. Participants will have the ability to choose from an array of topics and skills that best satisfy their interest and scope of practice within the fields of emergency, trauma and burn care.

Course Objectives

At the completion of this Symposium, participants should be able to:
• Explore signs, symptoms and injury patterns related to trauma, burn and emergency care
• Describe the challenges in trauma, burn and emergency care from pre-hospital throughout the continuum of care
• Recognize key elements in assessment and treatment related to trauma, burn and emergency care
• Discuss the injuries, care, and outcomes of actual trauma, burn and emergency cases with health care professionals
• Practice vital skills used in trauma, burn and emergency care

Individual topic objectives will be available at the Symposium.

Target Audience

Physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, pre-hospital personnel, and other healthcare professionals involved or interested in the care of the emergency, trauma and burn patient.

Course Registration Information
Registration for the Northern Colorado Emergency & Trauma Care Symposium includes continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, all course materials and CME. Participants who leave the Symposium early will receive equivalent pro-rated CMEs.

Register online by October 11th $85.00

  Registration OPENS August 1st; Edits to track selections can be made until October 4 depending on track availability.
  Registration CLOSES October 11th at 11:59 p.m.; Track selections for Registrations made between October 4 and October 11 cannot be edited.
  Refund Policy: Cancellations received October 4th or prior will receive full refund; cancellations received October 5th until October 11 (either via email, phone or date stamped via voicemail) will be given credit to attend the 2019 Symposium. NO SHOWS on the day of event will not receive a refund or credit.

Register Day of Event $140.00
  Registrants should plan to arrive early enough to complete online registration – even if registering the morning of the event.
  In some cases, class size for breakout lectures / skills is limited and those may not be available on the day of the event for registration; however, we will have room for all walk-in registrants

  Speakers and presentations / skills have been confirmed as of August 1; however, due to unexpected events, we reserve the right to substitute another qualified speaker, title of presentation or change of presentation time if needed.

You will be asked to provide your email address on the first page. Our communication and document exchange will be conducted online, therefore a valid email address will be necessary.

Group Registration

If you are registering a group of participants, it will be necessary to provide the individual email address of each person you will be registering. This will assist with getting evaluations and CME/CEUs to each participant. Participants will not receive their CME/CEUs if they do not complete an online evaluation.

Please remember to return to the site to complete and finalize the registration process. Incomplete registrations will remain unverified until they are finalized.
