This class is designed for first-time parents and covers a range of essential topics to help you prepare for your new arrival. You’ll learn about getting ready for baby, hospital procedures, and car seat safety. The class also addresses caring for your baby at home, including feeding, managing crying, and understanding emotional changes for parents. You'll receive guidance on when to contact a doctor and basic infant CPR and choking techniques (note: this class does not provide certification; we recommend taking a Red Cross infant CPR course for certification). We suggest attending during your third trimester to ensure you’re well-prepared. Please scroll down to see all available class dates.
We invite individuals preparing for a new baby to register for the class, and you’re welcome to bring one support person with you. Please note that we kindly ask that children do not attend.
