A “Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls” is an evidence based program that emphasizes practical strategies to reduce this fear of falling and increase activity levels. Participants learn to view falls and fear of falling as controllable; set realistic goals to increase activity, change their environment to reduce fall risk factors, and exercise to increase strength and balance.
The "Matter of Balance" series runs for 8 weeks per session.
Workshops taking place every Friday from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. on the following dates: January 13th, 20th, 27th, February 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th & March 3rd
