This is for Banner-employed attending/Nurse Practitioners Only
Be better prepared to manage life-threatening catastrophes, enhance your crisis decision-making abilities and leverage new technologies to sharpen your life-saving skills. Focusing on real-life clinical situations ranging from bedside intensivists to code blue, this case-based and interactive conference will provide high-fidelity simulations, interactive sessions and hands-on workshops. You will be brought up-to-date on rapidly evolving technologies such as point-of-care ultrasonography, ECMO, automated chest compression and pharmacogenomics, while the medical scenarios include an emergency evaluation of the patient with undifferentiated shock, the failed airway, refractory ARDS and obstetrical code arrest. Join small teams in complex ICU simulations – based on actual hospital patient histories – each followed by interactive debriefing with clinical experts. Get valuable hands-on experience employing the most realistic simulation techniques, bovine tissue, cadavers and live models.
Event will be held from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Friday 2/17/17, and from 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday 2/18/17. (2 day series).
