This class is for patients, caregivers, staff, and community cancer survivors. Participants will learn meditation along with other stress-management tools to use in everyday life. Practices such as guided imagery, breathing techniques, and progressive muscle relaxation will be used. Class is held Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Mind/body practices may:
• Decrease anxiety, stress, negative thinking, and depression
• Improve sleep quality
• Regulate blood pressure and relax the body
Beginners are welcome. Registration is required.
