Interventional Endoscopy Services

Diagnosing and treating digestive diseases often requires your physician to look inside your body. This technique, called endoscopy, is a minimally invasive procedure that uses a video camera or ultrasound images inside your body to accurately diagnose or treat various gastrointestinal tract disorders. Your general gastroenterologist, surgeon, oncologist or primary care provider may refer you to us. We provide expert consultations for benign and malignant pancreas and biliary (liver, gall bladder and bile ducts) tract disorders, early cancers of the digestive tract, and management of patients with altered anatomy.

These advanced procedures are performed by expertly trained GI specialists in facilities equipped with some of the most advanced medical technology available.

With support from University of Arizona, the Interventional Endoscopy Services has become an integral part of the Digestive Institute at Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix. The goal of our service is to provide high quality, efficient and affordable endoscopic care for patients in the greater Phoenix area.
