Banner Children’s Physical Therapy provides comprehensive therapy for children ages 0-18 years. Physical Therapists assess and treat children who have developmental delays, range-of-motion limitation, strength/muscle weakness, balance difficulty, and abnormal tone with the overall goal of promoting functional gross motor skills. Therapy services include individual, group and multidisciplinary therapy sessions provided by Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists.
All patients are seen and treated by a licensed therapist each visit. All patients receive personalized, hands-on training by experienced clinicians. Our services give our patients greater peace of mind, and confidence there will be consistent communication of care with other Banner Health practitioners.
The therapy team works together to ensure that patients and their families receive the best care possible during their hospitalization or as an outpatient. Therapy and treatment goals are comprehensive, evidence-based, family centered and designed to help the child function as independently as possible in their home, school and community settings. Our team has over 150 years combined experience in Pediatric Rehabilitation, including the assessment and treatment of Developmental Delay, Orthopedic and Neurological diagnoses, and Post-Surgical Rehab Oncology and Cardiac care. Our dedicated team includes Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists and some are certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment.
