How Are Kidney Problems Diagnosed?

We have a number of screenings and diagnostics to find out if you are having kidney problems. We may need to collect some urine to check to see if there is too much blood or proteins. X-rays and other imaging scans allow us to see how you kidneys are working. Some basic screenings include:

• Kidney Function Test
• X-rays or other imaging scans such as ultrasound and CT
• Blood tests
• Various types of urine analysis
• Biopsy

Your doctor will determine which options best suit you depending on your symptoms.
