What are the symptoms of COVID-19? 

Symptoms of COVID-19 may appear 2-14 days after exposure. Symptoms of the virus may include:

• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea

The elderly, and those with pre-existing medical conditions appear to be more vulnerable to the virus. People at higher risk for serious illness from COVID-19 should contact their health care provider early, even if their illness is mild.
