The Community Health Care Foundation, established in 1989, raises funds and manages charitable gifts in support of area health care services.
The foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable 503(c)(3) organization and is governed by a board of directors made up of community members, hospital staff and administration.
Foundation funds are used for projects that improve health care but are not part of the general operating budget of Community Hospital.
Gifts can be used in the following ways:

Our primary focus for funding is medical equipment for Community Hospital. We have also evaluated and funded capital renovations and education programs to benefit Torrington Ambulance Service.
Caring Partners is our Annual Giving Program, which enables us to assist in funding Community Hospital’s most critical equipment needs.
