VIRTUAL Childbirth Preparation Class
This class is highly recommended for every expectant parent during the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy. Mothers-to-be and their coaches say they feel more prepared, relaxed and knowledgeable about childbirth after taking this course. You will learn what to expect during the late stages of pregnancy, how to detect preterm labor and what to do when labor begins. You will also learn breathing and relaxation techniques, ways to be active during labor, comfort techniques during labor, medications and epidurals, cesarean births, newborn procedures immediately after birth, and how your coach can support you during labor and following birth.
Please have a pen ready, 2 pillows, and one coach. Please dress comfortably. There will be a break for lunch, but please feel free to snack during class. You are also welcome to use a yoga mat if you have one.
