Why Arizona and Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix: Affordable family life with lots of fun things to do within an easily reachable distance. Aside from being drawn to the program by the high volume of main OR cases, full-scope trauma and great implant experience at Midwestern, I appreciated the positive and respectful attitudes of residents and attendings.

Why Arizona and Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix: Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix is home to the best OMFS resident community in the country and the training is top notch. Not to mention Arizona has the most beautiful sunsets.

Why Arizona and Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix: Coming from a newer dental school, I saw the positive effect each individual has in molding a program in its infancy. When visiting Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix and interacting with the residents, attendings and staff, I became excited about being part of establishing a program that produces skilled and highly trained surgeons. After joining the residency, I knew I had made the right decision, as the resident culture and close bond between all our residents and faculty has enriched this time of my life.

Why Arizona and Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix: The residents and attendings here are amazing! There is so much camaraderie in our group and we have a dedicated faculty, who are great teachers. Besides the people, what really attracted me to this program was the unparalleled implant, TMJ and trauma training we receive here. It is not only a truly well-balanced and strong program, but it has the advantage of being fairly new and therefore flexible toward making it even better. Not to mention that Arizona IS an amazing place to live! My wife and I couldn't be happier here. This program trains well-rounded surgeons and I feel very fortunate to be here in this amazing learning environment with as many opportunities as this program affords.

Why Arizona and Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix: The program is really well rounded with trauma, dentoalveolar and other specialized surgeries. The people at Banner are amazing - from faculty to residents - and I knew that I would be able to work well with them and enjoy myself. Arizona is also a really great place to live in and my family is really enjoying themselves here.

Why Arizona and Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix: This is a fantastic training program that is very well rounded in complex trauma, TMJ, dentoalveolar and other specialized surgeries. What really sets this program apart is the residents and faculty. The OMFS resident camaraderie is unrivaled and the faculty is top notch.

Why Arizona and Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix: This is a unique culture, where people are excited about coming to work everyday; this includes the residents, attendings, other teams in the hospital, nurses, staff, etc. The scope of work is broad and well rounded. This is one of the only programs where OMFS takes head and neck trauma call 365 days a year. When it comes to trauma, implants, TMJ, and an overall well-rounded program, this is one of the best programs in one of the nation's best cities.
