Jacquelin Danielle (J.D.) Graham, RD, CSCS, leads Performance Nutrition at the Banner Sports Medicine High Performance Center, specializing in optimizing performance for athletes of all ages and skill levels, from recreational to professional, as well as teams and organizations. She focuses on enhanced performance, accelerated recovery, and addressing complex health issues through tailored sports nutrition strategies. Additionally, she assists referred orthopedic sports medicine patients as both a sports dietitian and integrated functional medicine registered dietitian. Graham's fifteen-year competitive gymnastics career inspired her evidence-based approach to performance enhancement and injury recovery. With extensive experience and continuous learning, she combines scientific expertise with empathy and attentive listening to develop personalized solutions that meet each athlete's unique physical needs.
Graham is an experienced national speaker and author of Evolve Healthy, A Mindfulness Guide to Food and Body Liberation. With over two decades of experience as a performance registered dietitian, she has served as a professional nutrition consultant for international corporate wellness programs, hospitality resorts, and sports teams nationwide across diverse sports including gymnastics, track and field, cross country, soccer, baseball, football, wrestling, basketball, tennis, golf, swimming, cycling, marathons, triathlons, and roller derby. She earned her degree in dietetics-nutrition from the University of Alabama and holds multiple credentials: registered dietitian, sports nutrition specialist, NSCA board-certified strength and conditioning specialist, registered yoga teacher, Vedic Thai bodyworker, and somatic breathwork practitioner.
