Joey DeMichele

HITTING INSTRUCTOR

Joey DeMichele is a former professional baseball player and accomplished hitting coach with a distinguished career spanning collegiate, professional and coaching ranks. A standout at Arizona State University from 2010-2012, DeMichele earned First Team All-American honors in 2011 while capturing the Pac-10 Batting Championship with a .368 average and leading the Sun Devils in home runs. His exceptional college performance earned him selection by the Chicago White Sox in the 3rd round of the 2012 MLB Draft, launching a five-year professional career where he compiled a .246 batting average with 555 hits across 596 games and earned back-to-back Rawlings Gold Glove Awards in 2015 and 2016. Since transitioning to coaching in 2019, DeMichele has dedicated himself to developing the next generation of players, serving as a hitting assistant at his alma mater ASU in 2020-2021, directing hitting and infield curriculum for travel ball programs, providing private instruction to players at all levels from high school to the major leagues, and currently serving as a volunteer coach at Chaparral High School. His unique combination of elite playing experience and proven coaching expertise makes him one of the most sought-after instructors in the game today.
