Affordable Accommodations for Patients and Families. Seeking health care in a rural state often means traveling long distances and spending nights away from home. Through the vision and support of Mary Masterson and other community members, who witnessed the challenges and costs out-of-town patients and their families face while receiving care in Casper, Masterson Place was founded to provide families with an affordable place to stay during their medical journey. Masterson Place, located directly behind Banner Wyoming Medical Center's Central Campus, is a beautiful facility that offers a relaxing refuge for patients and families seeking medical care in Casper. 

About Us

A Legacy of Compassion 

Masterson Place grew from the vision of Mary Masterson and was originally built and operated by the Wyoming Medical Center Foundation. The facility transitioned to the Natrona Collective Health Trust in 2020 before being gifted to Banner Health in 2026 to ensure its mission continues for generations to come. 

Comfortable Accommodations 

Masterson Place features 14 comfortable and functional guest rooms, each equipped with: 

• Refrigerator 
• Microwave 
• Coffee maker 
• Free Wi-Fi 

A large community room is also available, providing space for group meals and gathering with other families.

Eligibility

The only requirement to stay at Masterson Place is that you or your loved one will be receiving some type of medical care in Casper - whether it be major surgery, routine procedures or dental work.
