Our Banner Children’s Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgical Specialists are Board Certified physicians who specialize in treating heart defects present in children. Our physicians provide lifelong cardiac care for the unborn fetus and newborns through childhood, adolescence and into adulthood.
From all modalities of diagnostic testing, through various medical therapy and catheterization interventions and simple to complex surgical procedures, our goal is to ensure the best possible outcome for each patient.

Fetal Cardiology
Our Fetal Cardiology Program offers evaluation, diagnosis and management of pregnancies at-risk for fetal heart defects and rhythm disturbances. Early detection of these congenital heart anomalies provides for appropriate evaluation and optimal care and delivery.
Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery
Our pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons are nationally-recognized experts in open heart surgery and circulatory support techniques, including Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO). We also specialize in newborn and infant heart surgery, including surgery for single ventricle congenital heart disease (Norwood, Sano, Glenn and Fontan operations).
