- Cardiac catheter interventions (including enlargement of narrowed blood vessels with a balloon or stent; opening a closed or narrowed heart valve, plugging abnormal blood vessels, creation of life-saving holes within the heart, closure of holes within the heart and replacement of heart valves without open heart surgery)
