We are committed to improving care, health, and collaboration across all settings. You can find our performance measures on the AHCCCS Quality & Performance Improvement website

HEDIS®

B – UFC/ACC is committed to improving healthcare services and making sure our members get the best care possible. Every year, we evaluate our performance, set new goals, and make improvement plans when necessary.

We use HEDIS standards to ensure our members are getting the care they need. HEDIS is used across the country to compare health plans.

What is HEDIS?

HEDIS stands for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set. It is a set of performance measures created by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). These measures are updated every year and help healthcare organizations drive improvement. HEDIS allows members to compare different health plans based on performance.

HEDIS Measures

HEDIS includes more than 90 measures across 6 areas of care, including:

  • Effectiveness of care
  • Access/availability of care
  • Experience of care
  • Utilization and risk adjusted utilization
  • Health plan descriptive information
  • Measures reported using electronic clinical data systems (ECDS)

You can find our HEDIS scores and compare them to other health plans on the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System website.
