The prior authorization data on this page helps you learn how prior authorizations work with your health plan. You can see:

• Which services need approval before you get them
• How many requests get approved or denied
• How long it takes to get a decision

The information also shows:

• Approval rates for urgent requests (requests that need a fast answer)
• Requests that were approved after an appeal (when you ask again after being denied)

Important Note: This prior authorization data does not include information about prescription drugs.
