Free community event on Feb. 28 focuses on Alzheimer’s, dementia

Partners to share resources, information

PHOENIX (Jan. 21, 2026) – More than 15 community partners will come together to offer resources, information and connections during a free community event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Banner Alzheimer’s Institute, 901 E. Willetta St., in Phoenix.

The event, “Shine Together: Where Community Meets Care,” will include interactive tables and valuable resources, educational opportunities, live DJ entertainment and complimentary refreshments.

Since its inception in 2006, Banner Alzheimer’s Institute has sought to find effective Alzheimer’s disease prevention therapies without losing another generation, establish a new model of dementia care for patients and family caregivers, and forge new models of collaboration in biomedical research.
