Banner Health named to 2023 list of 100 Best Places to Work in IT

Third consecutive year for prestigious honor from Foundry's Computerworld

PHOENIX (Dec. 13, 2022) – Banner Health has been named by Foundry’s Computerworld as a 2023 Best Places to Work in IT, one of 100 top organizations that challenge their information-technology staffs while providing great benefits and compensation.

This is the third consecutive year that Banner has received the award.

Banner and other awarded organizations are now listed on Computerworld 2023 Best Places to Work in IT.

“The fact that we have received this award three years straight reflects our commitment to engage and inspire all of our team members. We are honored for this continued recognition,’’ said Deanna Wise, Banner senior vice president and chief information officer.

Wise added that Banner’s focus on relentless innovation is as much of a key to its superior workforce development as its benefits and compensation. “All of our team members know that our mission is to make health care easier, so life can be better for our patients.”

“Adapting to a ‘new normal’ has put additional demands on IT organizations at companies of all sizes,’’ said Rob O’Regan, global director, content strategy, Foundry. “This year’s winning companies have stepped up with increased IT staffing and a variety of innovative professional development opportunities. The result of these efforts is that not only are IT staffs engaged and productive, but the entire business benefits from IT’s ability to support evolving workplace models and changing business and customer needs.

“Importantly, this year’s award winners are laser-focused on diversity initiatives to expand the IT talent pool and promote workplace diversity and inclusion,” he said.
