Michael Butler brings more than 30 years of senior executive experience within the health care industry to Banner. Leading finance, operations and innovation at Providence Health from 1998 to 2020, he played a pivotal role in establishing the third-largest health system in the United States, overseeing a revenue growth from $2 billion to $25 billion. During his 22-year tenure at Providence, he led the development of a health plan serving more than 1 million members. Butler is the founder of Proponent Advisors; a venture firm focused on digital health and sustainability technologies.
Carole T. Faig serves on both public and private company boards and is a recognized leader in the US health industry. She served as EY’s US health leader, where she was responsible for driving strategy for a practice that grew to $600 million under her leadership. During her 38-year career at EY, she was an audit partner for large integrated health systems, insurers, and biotech firms. She is a qualified financial expert under SEC and NYSE rules and currently serves on the board of Henry Schein (HSIC), a member of the S&P 500®.
