MESA, Ariz. (Feb. 20, 2026) – A project to expand Banner Health Center in Mesa has recently been completed, enabling greater access to convenient medical care for patients in East Valley communities.
The expansion added over 19,000 square feet to the existing facility, which is now more than 40,000 square feet. The health center now has 31 new exam rooms in addition to new medical suites, nurses’ stations, and administrative offices. The facility also features increased in-office behavioral health services, as well as an expanded lab space for Sonora Quest Laboratories, which includes its own waiting area and two additional blood draw stations. Three new providers have joined the care team as a result of the new space, with plans for more to be added this year.
A key component of the expansion project is the resulting increased access to quality care for people in the community. The facility is strategically located in a growing area that is home to a large population with a high demand for health care services. With the new space, more patients will be able to benefit from additional providers and rotating specialists for their primary care needs. From routine physicals to immunizations and management of acute and chronic conditions, patients at the health center will continue to receive personalized care with an emphasis on preventive medicine.
The health center, located at 1917 South Crismon Road, was sold by Banner Health in 2024 through a sale-leaseback transaction to Stockdale Capital Partners. The general contractor for the expansion was GCON Inc., a construction management firm in Phoenix. The expansion project was the result of a collaboration with Stockdale Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm which owns the building.
“Stockdale’s focus was working with Banner Health to deliver a highly functional, future-ready facility that supports Banner’s expansion of care throughout the Phoenix market,” said Andrew Saba, managing director of healthcare for Stockdale. “Through close collaboration with Banner and its facilities teams, we were able to execute the expansion of an existing facility in an innovative way that expedited architectural and physical delivery timelines, while minimizing downtime to the existing clinic.”
