GREELEY, Colo. (June 29, 2026) – Fred AmRhein spent years quietly managing urinary symptoms before receiving treatment he describes as life-changing.
The Fort Collins man’s symptoms started gradually, beginning in his late 40s, with more frequent trips to the restroom, longer stops when out and about and more planning around where the nearest bathroom might be. Eventually, he was waking up every one to two hours at night, feeling exhausted and arranging daily life around his bladder.

Now, as Men’s Health Month comes to a close, AmRhein wants other men to speak up, ask questions and seek care rather than dismiss symptoms as part of aging.
“Please, do not suffer in silence and simply chalk things up to becoming ‘an old man’!” AmRhein said. “I have found that there are so many men that have similar issues... but won’t go see a urologist. I think they’re making a mistake. Life is too short to ignore the obvious.”
