Most patients come to the Orthopedic Trauma Center because of an emergent or traumatic injury such as a car crash or industrial accident. The Center also treats complications from injuries as well as bone fractures that are not healing correctly. Our specialized treatment includes:
- All fractures including ribs/chest wall
- Non-union/mal-union fractures where the bone either does not heal correctly or the healing causes a deformity
- Bone infections/ osteomyelitis
- Leg length discrepancy
- Deformity corrections
- Ground level falls
- Crush injuries
- Car/motorcycle/industrial accidents
