What Is Hospice Care?

Hospice is a philosophy of care that provides specialized health services for people nearing the end of life. If you have a terminal illness or have decided not to pursue further aggressive care and want to focus on comfort and quality of life, hospice care may be right for you. Banner Hospice provides symptom management with a focus on dignity, as well as support services for you and your family. Both inpatient hospice care and home hospice care programs are available through Banner Health.

Why Choose Banner for Hospice Care?

Our hospice program offers compassionate end of life care.

We understand it is important to allow patients and their families to make their own decisions, find spiritual peace and say goodbye to loved ones.

Hospice is often helpful for patients:

  • With a life-threatening illness
  • Who no longer respond to treatment
  • Who no longer seek aggressive treatment
  • Who want palliative care at the end of life, which focuses on providing patients with relief from the symptoms, pain, physical stress and mental stress of a serious illness
  • Who need help with pain management related to a terminal illness
The help you need to find peace.

Get help with pain and symptom management, lean on respectful support and find peace of mind as your loved one passes on.
