Free Health Care for Uninsured Children and Youth

Keeping kids healthy can be quite a task, especially if your child is not covered by insurance. That’s why Banner Children’s is here to help. We offer free health services to uninsured children in the Phoenix Metropolitan area through our Community Clinics and the Banner Children’s Healthmobile.

Banner’s Community Clinics are staffed by experienced health care professionals, including a nurse practitioner and a bilingual medical assistant, who provide caring, compassionate and free health care services to children from uninsured families around the Valley.

Pediatric Outreach Services

Services available include:

• Sick visits and follow-up care
• Well-child exams/sports and camp physicals
• Immunizations
• Health education
• Referral to appropriate specialty care (although the cost of specialty services are not covered by Banner Children’s Community Clinic, discounted fees for visits are available to eligible patients)

Our clinics do not provide emergency care, hospitalization or trauma care. We also do not provide dental care, reproductive health care or mental health care, but can provide more information on resources available.

At Banner Children’s, we want to keep your child healthy and limit their number of absentee days from school. The pediatric outreach care we provide through our Banner Children's Community Clinics is efficient, cost-effective and easily accessible by calling (480) 412-6344. The phone line is staffed by bilingual employees from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Community Clinic Locations, Days and Hours of Operation

We operate two Community Clinics, conveniently located in the East and West Valley. Residents with uninsured children are welcome to visit whichever location is most convenient for them.

Our clinics are located in:

Mesa

• 564 W. 9th Place, Suite 2
• This location is generally open between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Mondays and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays*

• This location is generally open between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays*

Banner Children's Healthmobile

At Banner Children’s, we are driven to help others! Each week, our Banner Children’s Healthmobile hits the road to provide children ages newborn through high school age with the healthcare they need. This 38-foot RV is specially-outfitted with an upbeat waiting room and two exam rooms and operates just like a mobile doctor’s office.

Our Healthmobile team, including a nurse practitioner and a bilingual medical assistant, provide caring, compassionate and free healthcare services to children from uninsured and underinsured families around the Valley.

Banner Health Center in Maricopa

• Located at 17900 N. Porter Road
• The Healthmobile is generally parked at this location from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every other Tuesday* 

Banner Ironwood Medical Center

• Located at 37000 N. Gantzel Road, in San Tan Valley
• The Healthmobile is generally parked at this location from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every other Tuesday*
