When you have asthma, the lining of your airways becomes swollen and inflamed, and the muscles that surround them tighten. The result is shortness of breath, coughing and wheezing. Banner Health doctors are here to help.
An asthma attack can be uncomfortable and potentially dangerous – especially in children with asthma. That’s why it’s important to get proper diagnosis and treatment.
At Banner Health, we offer comprehensive evaluation of asthma for both adults as well as children. We focus not just on the lung function, but also the triggers and contributors of asthma. These include sinus problems, allergies and gastrointestinal disorders. Learn more about our pediatric asthma services.
