Urology

Urology is the study and care of your kidneys, bladder and other parts of your urinary system. For men, urology also includes the reproductive system.

Many of our facilities also offer minimally invasive robotic surgery for urological issues. Our specially trained surgeons can make dime-sized incisions that mean less pain and a faster recovery time. Some examples of when robotic surgery is used include:

• Removal of all or parts of the bladder, called a cystectomy
• Removal of small kidney tumors, called a partial nephrectomy
• Removal of ureter blockages
