Banner  - University Medicine became the first in the western U.S. in February to take advantage of an exciting and innovative new technology that treats atrial fibrillation, a specific kind of irregularly fast heart rate. The Pulsed Field Ablation System is a catheter device that uses electrical pulses during an ablation procedure to treat specific tissue areas in the heart that cause potentially life-threatening arrhythmia.
