After giving birth, women may experience post delivery and labor conditions. These conditions can range from normal to severe so it’s important to be in tune with your body's symptoms after giving birth.

What Are Post-Delivery Conditions?

Common post-delivery conditions may include:

  • Constipation
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Vaginal bleeding
  • Hair loss
  • Breast problems
  • Discomfort during sex
  • Postpartum depression

Severe postpartum complications may include:

  • Temperature of 100 degrees F or higher
  • Large blood clots or bleeding excessively
  • Headache with blurry vision
  • Short breaths
  • Chest pain
