Externship

Externship Details

• Two positions offered per month to third year students only during the months of February through April.
• Two positions offered per month to fourth year students only during the months of May through January. (Program will consider up to 3 students for September, October and November)
• Students from all schools are considered for externship
• AACPM online clerkship application

Externship Schedule

• One presentation is given by each extern during their rotation on a topic approved by current residents
• Monday through Friday, 10 to 12 hours per day

• AACPM Clerkship application
• CV/Resume
• School Transcripts
• GPA: 3.0 minimum
• NBPME Part I

Externship Requirements

• Proof of liability insurance coverage
• Proof of HIPAA training
• Immunization record
• Proof of health insurance
• Completed background check through Banner Health
• Must provide own transportation
• Housing option available
