This list of local resources is to better serve our members and are available to all veterans that may require help. 

Arizona Department of Veteran Services
The Arizona Department of Veteran Services provides services and resources to veterans and their families. They also provide guidance for veterans wishing to navigate the VA system.

Coaching into Care 
Coaching into Care provides a “coaching” service for family and friends of veterans who see that a veteran in their life needs help. Coaching involves helping the caller figure out how to motivate the veteran to seek services. The service is at no cost and provided by licensed clinical social workers and psychologists.

Arizona Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America
The Arizona Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America provides free medical equipment to veterans in need. Veterans must have DD-214 and or VA Medical Card.

Arizona Phoenix Veteran Affairs Health Care System 
At the VA Phoenix Health Care System, the health care teams are deeply experienced and guided by the needs of veterans, their families and caregivers. The VA Phoenix Health Care System can help veterans find a health facility near them and manage their health online. 

Be Connected
The Be Connected program is a statewide effort to strengthen access to support and resources for the 600,000+ service members, veterans and their families who call Arizona home. Be Connected offers a support line that anyone can call, including service members, veterans, family members, helpers and providers. Be Connected helps and supports to navigate to the right resources for each person or family’s situation.

Arizona Coalition for Military Families
ACMF provides an ecosystem of support for military members, veterans and their families. ACMF is a statewide resource that can aid any veteran within Arizona.

Copper Springs Behavioral Health Hospital - Help for Heroes 
Copper Springs is an inpatient and outpatient treatment program. Both of these treatment options provide skill-building, problem-solving therapy and peer-to-peer support. This program is designed to serve the mental health and substance abuse and medication management needs of active duty and retired military personnel, veterans, first responders and other high-risk frontline professionals.

Phoenix Veteran Home
The Phoenix Veteran Home is a 200-bed skilled nursing care facility for all eligible Arizona veterans.

Disabled American Veterans Chapter 8
The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 8 offers veteran disability application assistance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

DEHP Integrative Care
THE DEHP Integrative Clinic is a counseling/intensive outpatient service with caring professionals. DEHP specializes in grief, trauma, PTSD, suicidal ideation, stress, intensive outpatient for both substance abuse and mental health, diabetes and internal medicine. Telemedicine is available from a psych nurse. DEHP works with all ages from birth up. Groups include Substance Abuse, DUI, Grief, Veterans and Family.

La Frontera Rally Point
Rally Point is a safety net for veteran, service members and their families. There are multiple locations in Phoenix and Tucson. Crisis Navigator Rally Point is for Veterans; they do not turn any Veteran away.

Soldier’s Best Friend
Soldier’s Best Friend trains and provide services dogs to veterans in need at no cost. 

Mesa Vet Center
The Mesa Vet Center provides free counseling for combat veterans only, no insurance needed.

Mesa Veteran Resource Center
The Mesa Veteran Resource Center offers personal assistance with employment, soft skills training, resume building, benefit claims, counseling, health care, transportation, workshops, homelessness and mental health. The Mesa Veteran Resource Center also helps veterans with cleaning up hoarding homes. The veteran must be prepared to have home cleaned and belongings removed. 

Military Assistance Mission
The Military Assistance Mission provides emergency, financial and morale assistance to current Arizona active military and their families and post 9/11 Purple Heart recipients.

The Phoenix Wellness Center provides quality, affordable, accessible counseling in Phoenix.

US Vets  
U.S. Vets helps veterans with mental health and wellness, housing, workforce development and case management services. Grand Veterans Village is home to 152 veterans transitioning from homelessness to housing and 30 low-income rentals.

Wounded Warrior Project
The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) assists veterans and service members who served in the military on or after September 11, 2001 and incurred a physical or mental injury, illness or wound during or after service.

AZ U.S. Department of Veteran Services
The AZ U.S. Department of Veteran Services assists veterans with their disability benefits, VA pensions and other benefits.

Tucson Veterans Serving Veterans
Tucson Veterans Serving Veterans provides education, networking, outreach and referral services for veterans in need.

Arizona State Veteran Home Tucson
The Arizona State Home in Tucson is a 120-bed skilled nursing care facility for all eligible Arizona veterans. It provides a home-like experience for residents to include private rooms and full baths.

Helping Associates Inc.
Helping Associates Inc. is a treatment center that can help with detox, co-occurring disorder treatment, sober living and aftercare/continuing care. 

Arizona State Home | Yuma
The Arizona State Home in Yuma is an 80-bed skilled nursing care facility for all eligible Arizona veterans. It provides a home-like experience for residents to include private rooms and full baths.

Catholic Community Services
Catholic Community Services offers housing assistance for veterans and their families, domestic violence shelters, child welfare, food, clothing, child care/after school programs (Open to essential workers to go to work, including CCC staff) remote services, and adaptive delivery of services.

Community Bridges Inc Lighthouse Outpatient
CBI serves the veteran community with wrap-around services that connect veterans with housing and ongoing care and services.

Make the Connection
Make the Connection is an online resource designed to connect veterans, their family members and friends and other supporters with information, resources and solutions to issues affecting their lives.

RecruitMilitary
RecruitMilitary’s goal is to engage transitioning and civilian-experienced military veteran men and women. Job Fairs, Recruit Military Magazine, and Job Boards are ways veterans can seek employment.

Military Family Relief Fund
The Military Family Relief Fund provides financial assistance to active duty service members, veterans and their families for unforeseen financial hardships caused by the service member’s military service.

Arizona Housing Coalition – StandDown Alliance
The Arizona Housing Coalition holds resource fairs and events that help veterans and their families who are experiencing housing instability and homelessness get and stay connected to supportive services.
