PHOENIX (Feb. 15, 2023) – Banner Health today announced the opening of Banner Health Center plus in the Arcadia community. The center is an “all-in-one” health care facility at The Grove, located at Camelback and 44th Street in Phoenix.

“Banner Health Center plus is a destination health care setting,’’ said James Cote, vice president of the non-profit organization’s ambulatory services. “We’re bringing world-class academic medical center expertise from Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix to the Arcadia community. As health care leaders focused on clinical excellence, research and teaching, the goal of our entire team is to ensure patients receive the very best care from top-notch medical experts right in their own community.”

This is the second location of Banner’s newest clinic type, which combines urgent care and family medicine with a full array of specialists, along with advanced imaging, laboratory services, physical therapy, executive health care and sports medicine all in one location. Banner Health Center plus in Glendale opened in 2021.

Cote said a major focus of Banner Health Center plus is the consumer experience. “Our goal is that the health center team will work together as one and create a seamless experience at each patient touchpoint,” he said. “We know consumers are busy and we want to make health care easier, so life can be better.”

Specialty care at the Arcadia location includes orthopedics, general surgery, vascular surgery, endocrinology, gastroenterology, obstetrics/GYN and bariatrics. The 70,000-square-foot, two-story building has 60 exam rooms, six infusion bays and a separate entrance for urgent care.

Banner Health Center plus combines multiple aspects of the health care experience. The convenient location features spacious design, accessibility, advanced technology, and a wide range of exceptional providers. For more information, visit:
