Phoenix Suns Players Visit Banner Thunderbird to Spread Joy and Holiday Cheer

GLENDALE (December 22, 2023) – This past weekend, young patients at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center had an unforgettable experience when the players and the Gorilla from the Phoenix Suns paid a surprise visit to the hospital.

Not only did the Phoenix Suns players and the Gorilla bring along wonderful presents, but they also took the time to personally wish each child a speedy recovery and an excellent holiday season.

"We are immensely grateful to the Phoenix Suns for their thoughtful gesture of bringing their players and the Gorilla to the hospital”- said Wendy Pauker, Associate Director of Child Life at Banner Thunderbird. “Their visit brought immeasurable joy and smiles to our pediatric patients and their families."
