I provide thoughtful, patient-specific care with the goal of improving hip and knee range of motion, alleviating pain and improving both function and quality of life.

Joseph Blazuk, MD

Orthopedic Surgery

Physician, TOCA at Banner Health Tempe
I strive to get patients back to the activities that add happiness and meaning to their lives, whether that involves running a marathon or simply going up and down stairs without pain. I practice medicine with the mindset that the body's natural state is one of health. Injury often occurs when a cycle of muscle imbalance, improper biomechanics and pain are couched in a poor environment for healing. I focus on using musculoskeletal ultrasound to provide an accurate, timely diagnosis and developing a patient-centered treatment strategy that avoids complications of surgery when possible. I have published on adolescent throwing injuries and the usefulness of regenerative medicine injections, among other topics.
