Orthopedics/Sports Medicine

Our team includes sports medicine doctors, orthopedic doctors, and surgeons specializing in spine, bones, joints, and muscle conditions. You don’t need to travel out of your way to get help. We provide the care you need for your orthopedic conditions and injuries. This location also offers neurosurgery, pain management and pediatric services.

As the only orthopedic team in Tucson whose doctors are also leading researchers and educators, we offer the most thoughtful, advanced, evidence-based non-surgical and surgical orthopedic care in Southern Arizona. Our patients range from everyday adults and kids to competitive athletes, including pro, college, and high school sports teams.

Pain Management

Our team offers non-opioid medical management and interventional treatment for chronic pain. Pain-fellowship-trained anesthesiologists staff the Banner-University Medical Center South Campus Multi-Specialty Pain team. We specialize in both non-opioid medical management and intervention to manage chronic pain. Our interventional treatments include nerve blocks, Botox injections, epidural steroid injections, facet rhizotomy, sympathetic blocks, implantable systems, radiofrequency procedures, and major joint injections.

Physician, Banner - University Medicine Orthopedics Clinic
My priority is getting you your best possible recovery after injury. This involves a combination of surgical or non-surgical treatment of the injury as well as guidance through the rehabilitation process. I believe in educating you regarding common complications, expected set backs and challenges so you can avoid these whenever possible. In addition, I understand how disruptive an injury can be to all aspects of your life including work, social interaction and relationships. I will work with you to get you back doing the things you love as quickly and safely as possible.
