B – UFC/ALTCS covers drugs which are medically necessary, cost effective, and allowed by federal and state law.
B – UFC/ALTCS recipients with Medicare, B – UFC/ALTCS does NOT pay for any drugs eligible for coverage by Medicare or for the cost-sharing (coinsurance, deductibles, and copayments) for drugs available through Medicare Part D, even if the member chooses not to enroll in the Part D plan.
