C. David Kikumoto, a member of the Banner Health Board of Directors, is founder and CEO of Denver Management Advisors, a privately-owned health insurance consulting and group benefit brokerage company. A former President of Anthem of Colorado as well CEO and Vice Chairman of Rocky Mountain Healthcare Corporation, the holding company of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans in Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada, he is a recognized expert in health care financing in the Western U.S. Prior to that, he held numerous positions with Regence Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Utah.
In addition to the Banner Health Board of Directors, Kikumoto serves on the boards of directors of various for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including Volunteers of America, Boy Scouts of America, Delta Dental, Bellco Credit Union, Global Elite Medical Jets and Air Methods, Inc.
Kikumoto earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Utah, where he also pursued graduate studies. He graduated from the Executive Development Program at the University of Chicago and from the National Association of Corporate Directors Training.
