Todd Werner is the president of care delivery at Banner Health. Werner began as chief executive officer of Banner Desert Medical Center in 2008, served in a variety of leadership roles, including CEO of Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, regional president of Arizona east division and president of Banner’s Arizona region. He was named a senior vice president of acute care delivery in 2022.
Werner came to Banner Health from the Adventist Health System, where he held CEO posts at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, Illinois and Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital in La Grange, Illinois.
Since earning a master’s in business administration with a concentration in health services management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, Werner has held leadership positions in either health systems or consulting firms that work with health systems.
