East Morgan County Hospital Foundation

About Us

The East Morgan County Hospital Foundation, founded in 1991, exists to provide funds and support for the capital and program needs of the East Morgan County Hospital.

The foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable 503(c)(3) organization that is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors that includes five elected hospital District Board members and four at-large members.

How Donations Are Used

Foundation funds are used to support the hospital’s building program and capital equipment needs.

Past Projects

• 2011, Cardiac rehab
• 2010, Operating room expansion and renovation
• 2005, Brush Family Medical Clinic and relocation of the Specialty Clinic to a new area
• 2004, implementation of the Picture Archive Communication System (PACS)
• Phase II, remodel and expansion of Admissions, Diagnostic Laboratory and Radiology
• Phase I, remodel and relocation of the Emergency department and nurses station
• 1994, the Alonzo Petteys Rehabilitation Center

Donations may be tax-deductible. Please consult with a tax advisor. Donations of more than $50 qualify for a Northeastern Colorado Association of Local Governments (NECALG) Enterprise Zone tax credit, which may allow for an additional 25 percent above the standard charitable deduction from Colorado state taxes.
