Admission Criteria

Candidates must have an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in medical physics or in another area of the physical sciences and have graduated from a CAMPEP accredited graduate or certificate program by the time of employment. Typically one resident will be recruited each year. The position is funded by the Division of Radiation Oncology at a salary level comparable to medical residents at Banner and includes benefits and approximately 3 weeks of paid time off per year.  Banner Health is an equal opportunity employer and encourage qualified women and minority applicants. Application and Selection Instructions:

  • The residency program will participate in the AAPM MedPhys Match Program.
  • Applications must be submitted online through the AAPM Medical Physics Residency Application Program (MP-RAP) (http://www.aapm.org/MPRAP/), including a CV and three reference letters.
  • Applications must be received by closing date (typically in December) for a start date of July 1.
