Gastroenterology Services at Banner Fort Collins Medical Center

Acid Reflux and Digestive Disease Center of Banner Health in Northern Colorado brings together a team of digestive disease specialists who diagnose and treat disorders of the throat, esophagus and stomach through medical and surgical interventions. 

The Acid Reflux and Digestive Disease Center of Banner Health is uniquely equipped to help you with symptoms such as difficulty swallowing, acid reflux, GERD, as well as other digestive diseases of the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, small and large intestine and anorectum.

The Center offers a variety of tests to aid in diagnosing and treating conditions related to your digestive tract and includes a multidisciplinary approach involving specialists in esophageal and general surgery, registered nurses, clinical nutritionists, gastroenterologists, and interventional endoscopists.

Available testing includes:

  • High-resolution esophageal manometry (HRM)
  • Anorectal manometry
  • Esophageal pH testing for heartburn
  • Bravo pH monitoring

Our endoscopic procedures include:

  • Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR)
  • Endoscopic sub-mucosal dissection (ESD)
  • Non-surgical anti-reflux procedures (TIF)
  • Peroral endoscopic myomectomy (POEM)
  • Radiofrequency ablation

Surgical Procedures:

  • Laparoscopic and robotic, anti-reflux procedures
  • Surgery for complex disorders such as cancers, gastrointestinal disorders, and difficulty swallowing
