  • Mental/emotional wellness

We value the unique strengths, challenges and history each client brings to the treatment setting and treat everyone with honesty, integrity and authenticity. We provide a safe environment and secure relationships by sharing compassion, seeking to understand and taking a non-judgmental approach. We help patients increase their self-knowledge and acquire self-mastery, which are keys to personal and interpersonal effectiveness.

Lisa Lahrs, LPC

Counselor, Banner Health Clinic
The human person is innately designed for balance and health but the frailty of human biology and the imperfection of human interactions often lead to complicated, ineffective and distressing lives. Counseling helps to untangle the complications and to guide the individual toward restoring and/or establishing balance and health.

Ryan Williams, PMHNP

Nurse Practitioner (NP), Banner Health Clinic
The foundation of the provider/patient relationship is trust and communication. I actively listen to my patient to understand their problems and goals so we can achieve the best outcome together. I am committed to providing affirming and trauma-informed care to all my patients, and am an ally to those who are, and identify as, LGBTQIA+ as well as other diverse identities , in both my professional and personal life.

Robert Flores, LPC

Counselor, Banner Health Clinic
My approach to treatment centers around making the client feel fully in control of the session. I consider my client to be the expert in their lives and let them tell me what they need from treatment and help guide them toward their individual goals. I utilize a variety of tools from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Processing therapy to provide a trauma informed therapy experience that is comfortably tailored to each individual person. Self-care is very important to me and in my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, taking advantage of time at the gym, spending time outdoors, eating sushi, and reading my favorite author, Stephen King.
