Services at this location

Welcome

Our Banner Children’s Urology Specialists are dedicated to providing children and their parents with comprehensive information, diagnosis and treatment for pediatric urology issues. While developmental and functional issues affecting the kidneys, bladder, urethra or genital tract are common in children, how they affect each child is unique and requires individualized care and management. Our goal is to provide your child with the best care possible in a family-friendly environment designed to make them feel more comfortable and relaxed during their visit. We have both male and female providers and have streamlined our diagnostic and treatment process, using the least invasive diagnostic testing and latest technology in minimally invasive treatments whenever possible to help minimize discomfort and stress.

About Us

Our experienced specialists work together with you and your child's primary care provider to develop the best treatment plan. They provide consultations and ongoing care for children from birth to 18 years of age. If urology issues are identified before the birth of a child, they can also provide consultation and care before the baby is born.

The pediatric urology conditions we treat include:

  • Prenatal Diagnosis such as hydronephrosis and other developmental abnormalities of the kidney, bladder and urethra
  • Developmental abnormalities of the kidney such as duplex collecting system, ureteropelvic junction obstruction, ectopic ureter and ureterocele
  • Developmental abnormalities of the bladder such as exstrophy
  • Neurogenic bladder and other voiding issues associated with spinal cord abnormalities
  • Daytime and nighttime wetting and other functional voiding problems
  • Urinary tract infection and vesicoureteral reflux
  • Urethral abnormalities such as hypospadias, epispadias, posterior urethral valves and meatal stenosis
  • Male genital issues such as undescended testis, epididymitis, hernia, hydrocele, varicocele, phimosis and paraphimosis
  • Female genital issues such as Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) and vaginal agenesis
