Dr. Cornelius focuses on a holistic approach to care, integrating mental health and medical health together in order to appreciate the role each has in improving the overall well-being of a person. He explores a person's strengths and successes in order to apply them to future challenges. In addition to general mental health issues he is a psychiatric consultant to persons with liver and kidney disease and assists in evaluating both organ donors and organ recipients before and after transplantation surgery.

My approach to care has always been focused on communication and collaboration with patients to achieve their goals. Rather than simply telling patients my clinical opinion, I listen carefully to their concerns and develop a specific and tailored treatment plan with them.
